Maybe we’ll get a towbar….

….said Andy as we were getting up this morning! If only he’d been practicing his yoga to help his flexibility in preparation for the weird and wonderful contortions required just to get into bed.

On a mission to get to the south as quickly as we could, we stayed last night at a motorhome park just outside Trévoux. It really tested the practicality of sleeping in a loaded van. Although we’d made the bed before leaving home, the bikes and fridge were stored in the “living” or maybe more accurately “movement” space. Needless to say it was a little tight to move about at all inside the van and pretty hairy climbing in. Any porta-potty action would have to be al fresco to avoid disaster, if it was possible at all to make it outside in one piece 😮. Thankfully it was just outside a campsite, and if we were willing to walk a little way, we were able to use their facilities. After a wet and rainy night, I was grateful for our novices intro to the joys of the Aire!
